Sometimes, with IN or OUTs, we can't really get into any sort of technical analysis, i.e., hem too short, shoes don't go, straps too far apart. Sometimes, it's all about the overall impression of the look. Well, our overall impression here is that this is kind of sad-looking on her. The super-flat hair doesn't help and those earrings are all wrong (Hey! We CAN get into the technical details! You just can't keep a good bitchy opinion down, girls.), but mainly it's that dress. We realize we have something of a bias against Carolina Herrera in that we always think her work is for the older crowd. We tend to be surprised when someone under 35 is wearing something of hers. We're even more surprised when it looks good on them. This doesn't necessarily look bad, per se. It's just...not...doing anything. It kind of hangs on her. We don't mind the frippery and we like the color, but to our eyes, it looks like this dress could have used some editing.Carolina Herrera Fall 2010 Collection

Sorry, unborn fawns. We would like to be more precise and perhaps we need more coffee, but on a purely instinctive basis, we're giving this one an OUT. It's just not working for us. .
