A reminder of the politics of the red carpet: SJP is the "Creative Advisor" to the Halston Heritage line. Not that we think there's anything nefarious going on here; just that she has a vested interest in showing these clothes off. That's pretty much why celebrities get named things like "Creative Advisor."
Anyway, she looks good here. Clean, fresh and simple. Lorenzo thinks she should have ditched the longer necklace and Tom thinks it's the only thing that keeps the look from being boring. We're both in agreement that if anything, the whole look is a bit too neutral-matchy. She's coming right up on the border of Bridesmaid Town. And honey, no one wants to visit Bridesmaid Town.
Still, because it's a classic and simple-chic sorta look, and because we like her hair and makeup here, she gets an IN.
